Cora (she/her) joined Open Learning as an Instructional Designer with over 15 years of experience in education, focusing on curriculum development, faculty support, and teaching.

She earned a Master of Education in Adult Education from the University of New Brunswick, and undergraduate degrees in Education (Lakehead University) and Arts, English (University of Manitoba).

Cora draws on her experience in various roles in education to inform a student-centred, humanized approach to teaching and learning. She supports the creation of equitable learning spaces through course alignment, providing opportunities for authentic learning and assessment, and using evidence-based learning design that supports Universal Design for Learning principles.

When not working, she likes to travel and read, and can often be found outdoors walking, kayaking, or fishing.
